it is never too late to marry
The Duchess of Alba, who is the world's most title-laden noble tied to knot today at the Palacio de las Duenas surrounded by a boisterous crowd of hundreds.
Twice-widowed the Duchess of Alba married Alfonso Diez in the chapel of that 15th-century property in Seville's old quarter.
Known now for her frizzy white hair, squeaky voice and plastic surgery, the duchess is among Spain's best-known public figures.
To say her full name is full is no exaggeration: It's Maria del Rosario Cayetana Alfonsa Victoria Eugenia Francisca Fitz-James Stuart y de Silva.
Her six children - all from her first marriage - reportedly opposed the nuptials. In July, she divvied up juicy chunks of her vast estate to appease them.
