A toddler was rescued by his neighbours after he fell from a balcony and became wedged between a wall and the building’s air-conditioning unit.

The terrifying incident happened in Beijing, China, on Wednesday as the anonymous three-year-old boy was reportedly left home alone by his parents.

After plunging from the 8th floor balcony of the tall apartment complex, an air-conditioning unit fixed on the wall of the 7th floor building miraculously broke his fall.

Nearby residents were alerted to the child’s screams and found him stuck behind the unit with his legs.

According to reports, police were called but time was against them as the tiny boy started slipping through the gap.

In the amazing photos, two brave residents known as Wang and Zhou are seen pairing up to free the boy just in time.

One of the rescuers - a grocery shop worker – risks his life to climb over the balcony railings while being held on by another rescuer.

After attempting to grab the boy, he was finally plucked to safety. In the last photo, he is held up by his saviours to celebrate the dramatic rescue.

Hollywood has seen its fair share of odd couplings, but this one is so out there even the newlyweds know it's a little weird.
Doug Hutchison, a character actor best known for roles in The Green Mile, Lost and The X-Files, married aspiring country singer Courtney Alexis Stodden on May 20 in Las Vegas.
He is 51. She is 16.
Is there something fishy about it? In an exclusive statement to E! News, the couple insists there's not.
With Stodden, a former beauty pageant queen (she was in the running for Miss Teen Washington USA last year), trying to position herself as a potential Nashville star, you might think there's more to the story than middle-age actor marrying pretty teenager (and that's a lot of story, itself). However, the newlyweds tell us they're just mad about each other.
"We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial," the couple said through their spokeswoman.
"But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."

AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CUTS THROAT ON PLANE IN FEAR OF DEPORTATION...!!!

An illegal immigrant has slashed his throat while he was being deported on a plane.

The man is receiving treatment in hospital after the Virgin Atlantic flight from London Gatwick to Kingston, Jamaica, was postponed.

A UK Border Agency spokesman said an investigation was being launched into how the man was able to inflict the "superficial injuries" on himself.

Passengers, who watched in horror as the incident took place, have been offered counselling by the airline. The Boeing 747-400 aircraft was carrying 449 passengers and 17 crew.

Emergency services prevented more serious injury by "gluing" his throat together, a source said.

A spokeswoman for the airline said: "Virgin Atlantic confirms that flight VS69 from London Gatwick to Kingston has been delayed until 12.45 on June 21 following a passenger incident.

"The aircraft which was due to depart at 12.45 on June 20 was met by the relevant authorities and the passenger was taken to hospital for treatment.

"The safety and welfare of our crew and passengers is Virgin Atlantic's top priority. Virgin Atlantic is co-operating with the authorities in their investigation of the incident and is offering counselling support to passengers and crew.

"All passengers on board the plane have been provided with hotel accommodation, refreshments and meals until the flight departs tomorrow. Any passengers who wish to change their flights will be able to do so."

A UKBA spokesman added: "There has been an incident today involving a Jamaican individual being removed from the UK on a flight from Gatwick airport. The individual was taken to hospital with superficial injuries. An investigation is under way."
